Farm Visit

This horse experience is designed for the Special Needs person. Adult or child we introduce the horse and the bonding between the person and the horse begins. There may be dogs and cats that appear at the barn during the session. Some persons are able to ride; many may just pet and brush and walk the horse around the beautiful Kentucky Environment. Equine-assisted program is a mystery but we know that the horses help people work through fear, anxiety, sadness, grief, and uncertainty, teaching us to respect boundaries and develop self control. Horses Healing Humans is located on the premises of Sunburst Horsemanship School. Equine-assisted riding is designed to enhance self esteem, improve focus and have fun too. Herd dynamics and individual recognition along with understanding leadership styles fosters a deeper understanding of self. |
